It’s been confirmed that Vanderpump Rules season 6 is happening, and we’ll get to catch up with the gang later in the year.
… Yes, I’m being serious. The couple that have broken up and gotten back together for like, 300 times, are back together, and will be filming for the sixth season of #PumpRules.
Meagher never wanted to be a part of the show, which definitely caused some drama behind closed doors, but he’s finally coming around, and willing to put up with the cameras for his girlfriend:
When I moved to L.A., it was because of a girlfriend that I’m still with, and literally this Saturday, we’ve been together for four years, I have to start filming Vanderpump Rules, which I’ve been pushing off for four years.
Stassi and Patrick started dating after season 2 of Vandepump Rules, and they continued being a couple through-out season 3, and season 4. Unfortunately, they broke up right before season 5, and Patrick was a constant topic on Stassi’s podcast.
Patrick also says that he doesn’t fit in with the storyline, so he’s probably going to be a boring addition to the cast:
They want me to go dinner, but I don’t have drama with anybody. I just love her. So, I’m probably going to be very boring.
Hell, at least he’s honest. I wish some of the other Bravolebrities could do a bit of self-reflecting.
While their relationship was a rare topic during season 3, it was revealed during season 4 that Stassi and Patrick were going through some rough times, and that they even decided to stop living together, but remained in a relationship.
It wasn’t long after that when Stassi announced that the couple had broken up on her podcast, Staight Up With Stassi:
We’ve broken up and gotten back together so many times, it was like, goddamn, we can’t do this pattern anymore, this routine of breaking up and getting back together every month. We deserve something stable or steady.
Stassi admitted that she just couldn’t handle the drama that came with her relationship, and that’s why they decided to end things:
It’s just, like, I can’t handle this. Like, you don’t fit into my life. You don’t try to fit into my life enough, and we keep fighting, and I can’t handle breaking up all the time. I’m trying to be an independent, strong, 28-year-old woman who doesn’t want to settle for this weird pattern, and it’s not about settling for him. He’s a wonderful man. Nobody would be settling by being with him. It’s settling for the way that we are together. I can’t settle for that.
So, you have to wonder how Stassi can put up with all of the drama that occurs on Vanderpump Rules.
Then again, at least she’s paid to have to deal with all of that drama.
