Back in 2009, Siggy’s husband, Michael Campanella, actually filed for bankruptcy, as he owed out a ton of money:
He owed $861,000 to Montebello for property. He also owed $147,218 in credit card debt to companies like American Express, Best Buy, Chase, Bloomingdales, etc…
By the time it was all said and done, dude owed nearly $1.3 million bucks to creditors.
When he filed for bankruptcy, he was a broker that reported a monthly income of $7k, but was saying that his monthly expenses were over $17k.
Yeah, spending more than you make is typically how you find yourself drowning in debt.
Despite his financial problems, Siggy wed with Campanella in 2012, and said that she actually found his debt to be… sexy.
He’d been successful and had lost it all. We started talking, and he was not afraid to admit his failures. That was sexy to me.
Well, Siggy definitely isn’t alone when it comes to financial problems, as her co-stars are facing hard times, as well.
