RHONJ Season 5 Reunion Taping

The Real Housewives of New Jersey - Season 5Last week, the New Jersey Housewives and Andy sat down for their annual chat. Over the course of a 15-hour taping, the ladies dished on everything that went down this season. And, if the ladies’ twitter reactions are any indication, it sounds like this year’s reunion will actually be less dramatic than seasons past. Maybe all the therapy sessions actually paid off? But, of course, less drama doesn’t mean no drama and, let’s face it, not sure how they could out-drama last year’s reunion unless there was an actual physical brawl on set (but we’ll save that for the finale).

Here’s what Jacqueline had to say post-reunion-taping:

And Teresa:

So, why are the ladies feeling so lovey-dovey? An inside source told All About The Real Housewives that “The reunion was a lot better than last season’s because everyone ended off on a good note.”  The source goes on to explain how things went down:

“The reunion wasn’t as intense. It obviously revolved a lot around Teresa but she seemed to handle everything fine. Teresa was getting annoyed with a few things. If Teresa was talking to Melissa, Kathy would always back Melissa up. If she was talking to Caroline, Melissa would get involved. The only person who stayed out of the drama was Jacqueline. Jacqueline never got in the middle of any of the arguments that involved Teresa. Teresa’s biggest problem was Caroline calling Teresa superficial. Teresa and Caroline both were getting loud when it came to this topic. Caroline especially got very loud with Teresa and Jacqueline refused to get involved with there drama remaining quiet. As for Teresa’s legal trouble, Teresa didn’t get into any detail with it. The ladies argued but nothing got to an extreme level. In the end, everyone was fine. As for Teresa and Melissa. They will never hang out socially just the two of them. They will never really like each other but they both will make sure there children get to see each other because that’s what’s important to them. Teresa is over the fighting and wants nothing to do with it anymore. She refuses to be involved in any fights with her family next season and made it quite clear to her family.”

Well that sounds like a pretty mature conclusion to what, so far, has been a season full of soul-searching and group therapy sessions. Speaking of therapy, we’re hearing that Dr. V was also in attendance at the reunion. (You’ll remember her from the Lake George episode–she was able to get Teresa and Joe Gorga’s relationship back on track. She was also one of the stars of the Bravo series LA Shrinks.) Apparently, Teresa’s attorney was also on hand to help advise her about what she could or could not say regarding her current legal woes.

What do you think so far about this season of RHONJ? Are you excited for the finale and the reunion?

this season has been boring and predictable, downright silly……cannot believe manzos have been given their own show—will never, ever watch her……lauritas should just stay home and tend to their children…..good luck to melissa with her
    non-singing voice career!
