By now, you’ve probably heard NeNe and Greg Leakes re-tied the knot in a lavish, $1.8 million wedding on June 25th. You may have also heard the Bravo is gearing up for a wedding spin-off: “I Dream of Nene: The Wedding”. This is probably why mums been the word when it comes to details about the big day! But, here’s what I’ve been able to track down:
The theme was “Old Hollywood”. NeNe said: “I came up with the idea of having an Old Hollywood theme because I thought it would be completely fabulous and everyone would be able to have fun with it. I just did it my way!” And everything was white. From the chairs, flowers and draping to even the bridesmaids, NeNe truly had a white wedding!
The blushing bride wore a $50,000 gold and white Baracci gown for the ceremony. Then, she changed into a $20,000 Pnina Tornai dress for the reception. We couldn’t find any pictures of her in this gown but here’s a shot from the runway. But wait, it appears she changed a 3rd time because in this last picture she’s clearly not wearing either of the first two dresses. I couldn’t find anything about this third mystery gown! Guess we’ll have to stay tuned for the wedding special! NeNe also said that she actually had FIVE dresses but only wore three. She tweeted: “I had 5 dress 2 wear on my wedding day & i only wore 3!” Sheesh! Gotta give the girl credit for editing.

Plenty of Bravolebrities were on hand to help Nene & Greg celebrate! Fellow Atlanta Housewives in attendance included Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey (who was actually a bridesmaid), and on-and-off again friend Kim Zolciak. Other Bravo guests included Patti Stanger, Bobby and Jill Zarin, Gretchen Rossi, Marysol Patton, and Slade Smiley.
Looks like everyone had a great time! You’d never know that no booze was served at the reception or that everyone had to sign a lengthy release and confidentiality agreement before they could attend!
In the document, guests must agree they “will not be under the influence of any medication or drugs that might impair my physical or mental ability to engage in the Activity or that might impair my judgment while engaging in the Activity.”
The release goes on to require that guests be in “…good health and have no medical, physical, or emotional condition that might interfere with my engaging in the Activity.”
The craziest of the release demands asks guests to ensure they are “not currently and during one (1) year from today do not intend to be a candidate for public office.”
Huhwhaaaa? Well hey, it’s NeNe’s party and she’ll pry if she wants to!
NeNe’s Post Wedding Dish
In a BET Awards pre-dinner, red-carpet interview NeNe looked happy and glowing. The newlywed dished, “Gosh. I think the second time around, when you are married to the same person for the second time…I know exactly what I am getting so it’s not like I am test driving a car. I already know the man I am married to and I know what he likes and doesn’t like, so I find that to be a plus.” She then told us how her wedding was just like a fairytale…
“And I’m not even saying that because it’s my wedding. Seriously. We woke up the next morning and was like, what did we just do?”
