Today we have news that for fans of MDLLA may be bittersweet. Despite last season’s franchise record high ratings, it looks like Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles will be getting a shakeup for Season 7. Original cast member Madison Hildebrand will not be included in the new cast and is, instead, being replaced by two new additions. The good news is we’ll have the chance to get to know the new cast starting in a few short weeks:
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Season 7 will premiere Wednesday, August 20 @ 9pm ET/PT!
While the news about Madison’s departure comes as a surprise and disappointment to many, he wants to assure fans that he was not fired and made the decision to leave for his own reasons. He shared the following statement via his Facebook page:
“BIG NEWS FROM ME: As an original cast member of Bravo’s ‘Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,’ I have made the decision to leave the show to focus on new and exciting endeavors. Sharing my life, career, relationships and challenges over the past six years has been an unbelievable journey and I loved every minute of it. I wish for the continued success for the franchise and want to thank my fans, Bravo and my family for all the support.”
Returning agents Josh Altman and Josh Flagg will be joined by two new faces, successful real estate partners James Harris and David Parnes. Bravo is keeping things in the family as the new duo and their firm, Bond Street Partners, are part of Mauricio Umansky’s Real Estate company, The Agency. They should be forces to be reckoned with, grossing over $120 million in sales last year. It almost seems unfair to pit the Joshes (who are already constantly at each other’s throats) against a successful, united pair of agents. Josh Altman’s sights are set on growing The Altman Brothers into a worldwide real estate empire, but a mounting rift between his fiancée Heather and his brother Matt may make planning his wedding even harder to manage. Josh Flagg has enjoyed the splendors of being a top agent in Beverly Hills, but with a new slew of agents on the rise, he is forced to protect his precious piece of the pie by any means necessary. Still accused of being a spoiled rich kid with a silver spoon in his mouth, Flagg struggles to prove once and for all that he’s a self-made man.
With inventory low and demand high, the Los Angeles market is blazing hot and these agents are working hard to stay one sale ahead of their competition. From the exclusive enclaves of the Hollywood Hills to the sprawling mansions of Bel Air, the agents are pulling out all the stops to nab high price listings and get them sold. Check out the first look at season seven:
Not only will these four guys clearly be keeping us on our toes this season, it looks like we also get to look forward to appearances from Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards of RHOBH (!!!) as well as Ryan Serhant of MDLNY. I love me a good Bravo crossover!!
What do you think about Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Season 7? Will you miss Madison or are you glad to see some fresh faces among the cast?
