Melissa Gorga joined the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey in Season 3. Since then, we’ve seen her endlessly feuding with sister-in-law and fellow ‘wife Teresa, launching a music career, and, most recently, gracing the cover of US Weekly‘s Hot Bodies issue:
Lookin’ good, Melissa! So what would it take for Melissa to walk away from the show that started it all? When asked if all the family drama would make her consider leaving RHONJ, Melissa responded:
“No, you know what, I feel like if it ever really starts to affect my family you won’t see me anymore. So until then, here I am!”
I wonder what she thinks would qualify as “affecting” her family. Perhaps moving out of their custom built home to put distance between her family and Teresa and Joe Giudice? No? Well, what about your husband not being on speaking terms with his sister or parents for over a year? (According to Joe at the Season 4 reunion.)
Here’s hoping the Gorgas and the Giudices can work out their differences this season but the good news is that, even if they don’t, looks like we won’t have to worry about Melissa exiting the show. Because, really, what more could the show do to her family that hasn’t already been done?
