With the Season 6 premiere just around the corner (in case you haven’t already planned your viewing party and set your DVR the big day is Sunday, July 13!) it’s time we got to know a little something about the newest additions to the New Jersey Housewives cast! And, as it turns out, this season we’ll be introduced to THREE new Housewives. Another way to look at that is that half of the Season 6 cast will be brand, spankin’ new faces. And, these aren’t just your average, run-of-the-mill housewives we’re talking about. These are Jersey girls, and two of them are twins! So, you know they’re going to be bringing their drama A-game!
But, you don’t have to take my word for it! Bravo shared exclusive clips introducing the new stars. Who overcame a battle with breast cancer? Who moved back in with her family after a painful divorce? And who has a predilection for X-rated material—and going to church? Watch below.
Nicole Napolitano is one-half of the twins joining the Housewives. “I’m a hot bunch of fun,” she says of her approach to life. But she’s got a fiery streak too: “Once you piss me off, I have to let it out. You can take the girl out of Brooklyn, but not the Brooklyn out of a girl.” The mother of two boys, Nicole also opens up about her struggle of divorce—and moving back in with her parents. After her divorce she embarked on a new career as a successful jet broker. Nicole’s motto: “A woman only needs two things: Dunkin Donuts and oral sex.”
Nicole’s sister, Teresa Aprea, (that’s pronounced tuhr-ESS-uh, by the way) says she’s the “bitchier twin” and is ready to come to the defense of her sibling whenever necessary. She’s also gone through a divorce, but after 11 years apart, she reconciled with her husband. “There’s something about us….he can’t stay away from me,” she says. Teresa helps her husband Rino run their successful restaurants and loves being a mom.
Amber Marchese is a cancer survivor and old friend of Melissa’s. Born and raised in New Jersey, Amber has a masters in bio-behavioral studies/exercise physiology from Columbia University. She has a simple motto when it comes to dealing with drama; “If you have an issue, just f—ing say it!” So it might make sense that she describes herself as a “little bit of a control freak.” Despite her spitfire personality, the mother of four is in a happy marriage with her husband James and she isn’t afraid to talk about her predilection towards X-rated entertainment—and going to church.
So, what do you think of these three new New Jersey Housewives? Word is that they didn’t get along very well with veterans Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, and re-addition Dina Manzo. Of the newbies, Dina had this to say: “I keep saying they’re swinging from the chandeliers and we’re trying to catch up with them. They’re a lot to handle, but they’re a lot of fun. They’re great TV. Their one-liners are amazing and they don’t even realize how funny they are. They’re those kind of girls.” Melissa added: “I think where you’re going to get drama is with these new girls that are coming in.”
Guess we’ll have to wait and see how all the drama unfolds this season! July 13 can’t come soon enough!
