In case you didn’t know, the #RHOA star secretly wed her fiancé, Marc Daly, back in June, which caught everyone off guard — including Bravo.
Even though she’s now in a committed relationship, she’s saying that she plans on keeping her relationship separate from her storyline on the show.
Honestly, we can’t blame her, seeing as how Bravo has destroyed so many marriages.
That being said, Bravo isn’t happy, since #RHOA is supposed to be a reality show, and her husband is obviously going to be a big part of her life, so they want to follow it.
According to RadarOnline, Kenya is just trying to play hard to get, so she can make some more cash:
She’s trying to use her relationship as leverage to re-negotiate her existing contract. The network feels as though she’s using this as a tactic to get her salary in the same ballpark as NeNe.
NeNe Leakes is raking in the big bucks and Kim Zolciak was paid a great salary to get her to come back for season 10 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Therefore, Kenya is just wanting in on a piece of the pie.
The return of original Housewives, Nene and Kim Zolciak has her feeling like she is grossly underpaid for what she brings to the show. Prior to her wedding, she had nothing else compelling going on in her [life] to warrant a substantial pay raise.
It’s been reported that NeNe will get paid $2 million big ones for appearing on season 10.
Daly has spoken out before, saying that he doesn’t want to be involved with the show because he doesn’t like how African American males are portrayed on it.
Still, if Kenya wants to keep her slot on the show, she’s going to have to sell out her husband or else she’s going to get canned.
