Spoiler alert: we’re in for at least one huge fight scene this season on RHONJ. Despite the group therapy the ladies have been getting, it seems they’ve still got some issues.
In fact, judging by it’s litigious aftermath, this latest outburst could be the most violent to date. Reportedly, Joe Gorga (Melissa’s husband), Jacqueline Laurita and husband Christopher Laurita are all facing criminal charges after the bloody brawl that took place March 30. (Side note: is that really a face tattoo Joe Gorga?!?)
The confrontation took place at (shocker!) Kim D’s new Posche store opening and from what we can tell involved someone named Johnny Karagiorgis (also now facing criminal charges) who’s wife Penny claims to be close friends with Teresa Guidice. “It was a huge brawl,” Jennifer Dunn, a local salon owner who shares space with the new boutique told the Fairlawn-Saddlebrook Patch. “Three of Kim D’s clothes racks were destroyed and three of our custom sinks were broken. There was blood on the walls.”
We’re hearing that Joe Gorga (Teresa’s on-and-off-again estranged brother) confronted Karagiorgis about things he’s been saying about Melissa Gorga on Twitter during the course of this season’s filming. Additionally, Jacqueline Laurita is claiming that Johnny “lunged towards me, and I heard him yelling, ‘I’ll [expletive] kill you'” and states that Johnny “had a crazy look in his eyes like he was on drugs or something.” Joe Gorga and Chris Laurita also testified that Johnny had lunged at them as well, threatening their lives and antagonizing Jacqueline and Chris with inflammatory comments about their autistic son.
So how does the blame for all this end up falling on Teresa? According to an “insider”, Teresa has been feeding Johnny & Penny Karagiorgis misinformation about Melissa Gorga hoping they will do her “dirty work” for her. Teresa, in her own defense, claims that she and Penny aren’t even friends and that she’s being framed in order to manufacture drama and get screen time and a casting offer for Penny. This explanation seems likely enough to this blogger…and when it comes to fame-mongering, maybe it takes one to know one?
The good news is that Bravo got it all on film! All we can say is it will be very interesting to watch this season’s build up to this blow out. Be sure to tune in for the June 2 Premiere. What do you think, is Teresa to blame?
