If you follow a lot of TV, it’s difficult to keep up with all the episodes of that batch of shows you consider your favorites. While you might watch 4 or 5 diligently, the more you follow, the more other shows can seem to slip through the cracks. I have this problem trying to keep up with all the series in the Real Housewives lineup, and now that The Real Housewives of Dallas is on the way, I’ve thought ahead and decided I’m going to catch this new series streaming online. For those of you who are like me and want to follow the drama of every Real Housewives city, I’ve discovered many ways of watching Bravo online!
For all your Bravo network needs, you can start by checking the official BravoTV.com to find if your fave is currently featured for streaming by the network. A world of warning: only a few shows are up for watching on Bravo, and they don’t always put up the newest episodes as soon as they air. So keep your eyes peeled for Housewives of Dallas showing up on BravoTV.com, but if you can’t find what you need there, keep reading.
Hulu.com is an impressive site for streaming TV, and most of Bravo’s shows are available on it. here is just a sample of Hulu’s selection as far as Bravo’s shows are concerned:
Will The Real Housewives of Dallas please stand up? Hulu users will find out soon! If you subscribe to one of Hulu’s participating partners (including Armstrong, BendBroadband, Consolidated Communications, DISH, Grande Communications, Mediacom, Optimum, Suddenlink, and Verizon), you should be able to view Bravo programs on Hulu at your leisure. If you don’t have one of these providers, of don’t have cable or satellite TV, you’ll have to make a paid account with the site in order to do much more than watch previews of the provided shows.
Of course, if you’re OK with paying to watch Real Housewives of Dallas online, then you should know where to find the best bargain. As it happens, Bravo has partnered with Youtube.com in order to make many of their shows available on an episode-by-episode basis for around $1.99 each. Their main show hub is here, and if history is any indicator, they should give Real Housewives of Dallas its own channel soon! Once it’s up, you should be able to watch new episodes online as they come. However, if you find yourself watching exclusively online, paying $1.99 for every episode can come with a steep overall price tag.
Once Real Housewives of Dallas shows up on iTunes, you’ll probably find the price-per-episode is a little higher there. iTunes, however, carries the perk that you can buy an entire season at a discounted price (usually around $14.99-$25.99). If you want to catch the first season during the wait for a (hopeful!) season 2, iTunes might be the best place to do it.
Finally, to put a rumor to rest, there’s no way to watch Bravo TV on a mobile device… yet. While stations like HBO have already jumped into the mobile streaming market with the HBO Go app (and others like it for other networks), it’s one innovation Bravo seems late to pick up. So if you find your late-night TV usurped by your rambunctious kids, and simply can’t spare the cash to spring for a paid stream, you may have to wait until Real Housewives of Dallas is re-running in order to play catch up. I can only say sorry for now, and I’ll keep you up to date if Bravo releases an app of its own!
But if one of these options to stream The Real Housewives of Dallas works for you, then I’m glad to help a fellow TV fanatic out. And feel free to let us know what your personal favorites of these options are!
