As we’ve stated numerous times, The Real Housewives of Orange County star, Vicki Gunvalson, has practically found herself ousted from her group of friends ever since the whole #CancerGate issue with her former man, Brooks Ayers.
Last season, Vicki was getting torn down by her fellow cast mates, and even her own daughter, as she continued to defend Brooks.
Now, after being kicked to the curb by Brooks, and being alienated by her friends, Vicki is working on getting her life back together, and she’s going that by offering up apologies on this season of #RHOC.
Vicki then told Tamra that she plans on approaching each of her fellow cast mates individually and offering up an apology to them.
Unfortunately for Vicki, it doesn’t look like Heather Dubrow is going to be as accepting as Tamra was.
During the most recent episode of #RHOC, Heather said that she’s going to consider Vicki and acquaintance, rather than a friend.
Now, as we all know, from a technical standpoint, Heather has no choice but to continue being acquaintances with Vicki. After all, the cast is contractually obligated to deal with each other, whether they like it or not. They don’t have to be friends, but they have to be around each other.
Now, before you go thinking that Heather is completely anti-Vicki, she did actually write some fairly nice things about her in her latest Bravo blog update:
Vicki and Briana[Culberson] are fun to watch together…and heartbreaking. I hate to see Briana still so sick. She has been dealing with health issues for years and I hope coming back to the OC with her original doctors will help. Many people have strong opinions about Vicki, but I will tell you this, she loves her family and takes amazing care of those little grandsons.
Heather then went on to comment on how similar Kelly Dodd and Vicki seem to be:
I liked how Kelly [Dodd] was talking about how she sees herself in Vicki. It makes sense why she’s attracted to her. As I said at the table — we have all loved Vicki, just not our experience from last year.
Now, we’re not exactly sure if Heather is saying this is a good thing or a bad thing, but it’s an interesting thing she posted on her blog, none-the-less.
Even though Heather doesn’t agree with how Vicki approached the whole cancer issue, she does admit that she cares about Vicki’s family:
I spent quite a bit of time with Vicki at the start of the party talking about Briana’s health situation. The bottom line is, even if I don’t agree with Vicki‘s actions from last year, we have been friends for a long time and I care about her family.
Wow. It’s just amazing how quickly things have went downhill for the OG of the OC. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if she can rebound.
