Well, Jeff Lewis fans, today is your day! Not only does Flipping Out Season 7 premiere TONIGHT on Bravo @ 10/9c, but we’ve got the inside scoop straight from the woman behind the man! That’s right…the one and only JENNI PULOS is here dishing on Season 7, behind-the-scenes drama with Jeff, her brand new book, and life as a new mom.
Bravo Watchers have long known Jenni as a woman of infinite patience, brighten-anyone’s-day humor, and super-human multi-tasking prowess. And, as she told me, she’s already used to loving one baby, overgrown as he may be. So, simply put, I cannot wait to watch Jenni take on motherhood this season; she’s clearly a natural. Just check out how stinkin’ adorable her little bundle of joy turned out!
There are no words…
As if working for Jeff Lewis, filming two hit shows for Bravo, writing & recording hilariously awesome raps, and adding Mom to her list of titles hasn’t been enough, Jenni is also embarking on a new career path: author. Her latest book, “Grin and Bear It: How to Be Happy No Matter What Reality Throws Your Way” hits stores next week. So, a HUGE THANK YOU to Jenni for taking time out of a schedule that must be vacuum-packed & air-tight for us, her Bravo fans!
Jenni Pulos: Incredible. That daily delicious smile proves to me that hanging onto the ride of life pays off. Big time. Also, being a Mom is a full time job that deserves total respect.
What was the most difficult and/or painful thing about filming Season 7: giving birth or dealing with Jeff Lewis?
I went from loving one baby to loving yet, another. No pain, only gain.
It’s been a pretty long hiatus since Season 6 wrapped. In the mean time, we received SO many questions from readers wanting to know when Flipping Out would be back. Why such a long break?
We film the show for 7 months, so it takes awhile. Also, we filmed the second season of Interior Therapy between Season 6 & 7 of Flipping Out. Worth the wait, we hope!
What’s something you think might surprise viewers about Flipping Out Season 7?
Employee turnover. Ha Ha. LOL
Things were a little bit rocky between you and Jeff at the end of last season and, from what we heard, it got a lot worse before it got better. Jeff has spoken out about all the book drama and why he sued you. (He basically said you were negatively influenced by a previous management team). What’s your take on that whole situation?
Miscommunication and Misinformation.
You guys must have reached some kind of agreement because the infamous book (under a new title, I believe?) is finally about to be released! How did the lawsuit end up?
We did. The lawsuit was dropped.
March 11 is the release date, right? Love the title: “Grin and Bear It: How to Be Happy No Matter What Reality Throws Your Way”. Tell us a little bit about it and how we can pre-order a copy!
It is my love letter to failure. A how “not to” book. I want people to know that your extreme failures can lead you to the greatest joys in your life. Oh, and have an alter ego who does not give a crap. (Deb chapter)
It sounds like readers will get a lot of great advice based on your experiences and your life. What’s the biggest take-away that you would like your fans to learn after reading your book?
There is no expiration date on miracles.
These days you wear a lot of hats! Since you’re now an author, actress, rapper, wife and mom, do you see yourself still working with Jeff long-term?
I think we will always be connected some way, some how. He is my family and I love him.
Well Jenni, thanks so much for taking the time to chat with BravoWatch! We can’t WAIT for the Flipping Out Season 7 premiere on March 5!! Is there anything else you’d like to tell your Bravo fans?
Te amo! If it were not for you all, we would not be entering into a 7th season. We are grateful and we appreciate you!
