It’s really beginning to look like starring on a Bravo reality show can absolutely destroy a relationship. Of course, we’re talking about all of the relationship drama with The Real Housewives of Potomac.
Katie Rost announced just last week that she had called off her engagement with her boyfriend, Andrew Martin. Now, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan is saying that her husband, Eddie Jordan, is not even speaking with her at the moment.
Eddie Jordan is an ex-NBA player, and was let go from his coaching position he held at Rutger’s University after filming had wrapped for The Real Housewives of Potomac. Obviously, people thought that Jordan would come home to be with his wife after the firing, but he decided not to.
Apparently, Jordan wasn’t a fan of having his personal life discussed on television. In case you didn’t know, Charrisse was upset for the most part of the season, because her husband was living in another state for work.
Even though Charrisse has discussed her marriage issues, she still doesn’t appreciate having it discussed by her co-stars. Notably, she has a problem with Gizelle Bryant:
“In terms of Eddie, Gizelle doesn’t know Eddie. Our friendship came into existence after Eddie left home. She creates stuff for more air-time. Now I understand why when people that have known her longer than I have are surprised that I would use her name and friendship in the same sentence. For someone who gets so wrapped up in everyone’s relationships, yet claims to have men everywhere, she couldn’t convince one of them to date her on camera. Maybe she should spend more energy focusing on her own affairs.”
Wow, those are definitely some harsh words. Either way, Charrisse hasn’t spoken a whole lot about the problems in her and Eddie’s relationship, so it’s hard to say exactly what went wrong. After all, Eddie had already accepted the out of state coaching position when they got married. It looks like they may have just simply grown apart.
Either way, all of the Real Housewives of Potomac ladies have said that they’d return for a season 2, so you have to wonder if Charrisse will be able to repair her marriage, or if we may see divorce proceedings begins during the Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 (if there is one, after all).
I guess only time will tell, but it looks like #RHOP is certainly a relationship destroyer! What do you Bravoholics think?
