The Real Housewives of New York City star, Bethenny Frankel, has a big reason to smile right now, as another chapter of her life has come to a close.
Bethenny listed her Tribeca home on the market, and it was snatched up in a single day for $6.95 million smack-a-roos!
In case you’re wondering, this is the same apartment that Bethenny used to share with her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, which means she’s probably really happy right about now, as she’s distancing herself emotionally from the past.
Plus, she just added nearly $7 million to her bank account. Still yet, she won’t get to keep all of the money, as she’s going to have to give an undisclosed amount to her ex.
Also, this was the apartment that Bethenny moved into in 2011 during her stint on Bethenny Ever After, which she picked up for $4.95 million, and then ended up making $500k in renovations.
Unfortunately, after the couple were finished working on their love nest, their marriage went down the drain rather quickly.
The couple ended up fighting over the apartment, but Bethenny was inevitably the one that ended up moving out.
Bethenny commented on the sale, telling the Wall Street Journal:
I’m glad that the real estate gods were looking out for me saying, ‘let’s give her a break.
She certainly won’t be homeless, though, as she has a place in the Hamptons, as well as one in SoHo. Plus, the rumor mill has is that she and Dennis Shields are thinking about moving in together.
However, Dennis is still working on officially separating from his wife, and finalizing his divorce.
