As Below Deck Season 2 winds down, Bravo is wasting no time in sharing the good news that the show will be picked up for a third season! After last week’s finale episode earned the highest ratings of the season, the network made the official announcement that Below Deck Season 3 is green. Season 2 is averaging 1.5 million total viewers per episode so the renewal comes as no major surprise.
Meanwhile, this week the crew will be taking a look back over Season 2 for a “The Crew Tells All” episode. We’ll see lost footage and never before seen cast interviews as we take a closer look at the hijinks of the charter guests and crew.
But the Season 2 fun doesn’t end there! Next week, airing Tuesday, November 4 @ 9pm ET/PT, Andy Cohen will host a Below Deck Season 2 Reunion! Ohana as Captain Lee Rosbach, Chief Stew Kate Chastain, Chef Ben Robinson, Boson Eddie Lucas, Stews Kat Held and Amy Johnson, Deckhands Kelley Johnson, Jennice Ontiveros, Logan Reese and Andrew Sturby will talk about the most outrageous and controversial moments of the season. From the truth behind Kate’s “rocket ship” blanket art, to Andrew’s dismissal from the boat and Kelley and Jennice’s current relationship status, the crew leaves no stone unturned and takes an in-depth look at the past season and answers viewers most burning questions.
As far as next season goes, no word yet about whether we can expect to see some, most, all, or even none of this season’s crew back. Season 2 saw the return of some of the Season 1 cast along with some new additions and a new boat. My guess is that Season 3 will similarly feature a mix of returning and new crew members. Who would you like to see back? How about anyone you’d like to see gone?
Are you a fan of Below Deck? Excited for Season 3?
